Man faces four charges following child sexual assaults

Police have arrested a suspect in connection with two sexual assaults in the city’s east end.

Orfan Azizi, 33, of Toronto, was arrested on Friday, July 4 and charged with two counts of sexual assault and two counts of sexual interference

The accused appeared at Old City Hall on July 5

It's alleged that the accused started a conversation, asked for a hug and then sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl before she could reply. It took place last May and June at her Midland Ave. and Lawrence Ave. E. home.

On June 19, a 15-year-old girl was in the Midland Ave. and Eglinton Ave. E area when it's alleged she was approached by a man who started a conversation with her, asked for a hug and then sexually assaulted her before she could reply.

Investigators believe there may be more victims and are asking them to contact police.
