Human Trafficking Arrest

Sex Crimes investigators believe there may be more victims after a human trafficking arrest.

It is alleged that a 20-year-old woman was forced to work as a stripper and escort for the last six months with the demand she make $3,000 a day, seven days a week. All of her earnings were collected by a man who withheld her passport, social insurance and bank cards.

It is also alleged she was was threatened with death, along with her parents, should she try to leave and that she get a tattoo of the man's name on her to signify ownership.

More recently she reported she was asked to make $5,000 a day and assaulted to the police.

Soufian Larbi, 24, of Toronto, was arrested and charged on November 9, with trafficking in persons by recruiting, exercise control
, material benefit resulting from trafficking in person, living on avails of prostitution, withhold/destroy travel document, uttering threats, assault and mischief.

Police believe there may be other victims.
