Sexual Assault Alert

The Toronto Police would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a sexual assault investigation relating to an online job call.

A 21-year-old woman reported to police that she applied for a job online through Kijiji

 with a company called Corerite Salvage Logistics. She agree to meet a representative of the company at a local coffee shop

. However, it is alleged that the representative showed up at the woman's home accompanied by another woman

 and began engaging the woman in sexually inappropriate conversation. The man is alleged to have sexually assaulted the job applicant.

In another incident a 29-year-old woman who applied for a job online with the same company is alleged to have also been sexually assaulted after being engaged in an inappropriate conversation.

Randy Purves, 41, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with two counts of sexual assault and one count of committing an indecent act.
