This year the Drug Squad had their annual Christmas luncheon on December 11, and, as part of the holiday spirit, the members each brought an unwrapped toy to the luncheon.

In total, we were able to collect approximately 75 individual toys or games, which we chose to donate to the North York General Hospital.

We wanted to ensure that children, who are patients over the holidays, get something special. North York General Hospital were extremely pleased and advised they really needed the toys in anticipation of kids as patients over the holidays.

The majority of our members are undercover and can’t have their photos taken but we had members of our administrative staff take part in the photo celebrating the good work of the entire unit.
