The French Consultative Committee made a $1000 donation to La Maison, a women’s shelter that serves the French-speaking community of Toronto. The French Consultative Committee’s gift was received by Jeanne Françoise Mouè, who is the director of the shelter and was one of the first original members of the French Consultative Committee.

The French Consultative Committee (FCC) was formed in 1994 and is comprised of members from various backgrounds representing the French-speaking community of Toronto.

FCC Co-Chairs Director Kristine Kijewski and Gérard Parent gave the cheque for $1000 on behalf of the committee. Funds received by La Maison will go toward the purchase of linens, boots, coats, small kitchen applicances and TTC tokens for clients.
