Child Exploit Arrest

Police believe there may be more victims after a Toronto man was arrested on child exploitation and weapons charges.

Gregory Blair Vandette, 33, of Toronto, was arrested on child exploitation and weapons offences

Gregory Blair Vandette, 33, was arrested on January 19, after Sex Crimes Child Exploitation investigators executed a search warrant in the area of College and Bathurst Sts. The investigation began in October 2014.

It is alleged that a man communicated with several individuals, via social media,  offering to pay money for access to a 14-year-old child for a sexual purpose

. This person used the online identities of B.g.VAND, bvand81@yahoo.com, blair.vandette@gmail.com

.

Vandette has been charged with:

- Make Agreement/Arrangement to Commit a Sexual Offence Against a Child


- Procuring


- Luring a Child Under 16 years


- Invitation to Sexual Touching


- three counts of Unsafe Storage of Firearms 


- five counts of Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
