Cremated Remains Stolen

Investigators are asking the public for help in finding cremated remains stolen during a break-and-enter.

The remains were taken during a break-and-enter at a home in the Richland Crescent and Clumber Road area on Monday, February 23, between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m..

Among other property that was taken, was a bag containing the cremated ashes of the victim's mother.

 The bag is described as blue with a drawstring at the top, and has an embroidered logo for the St. John's Dixie Cemetery and Crematorium. Inside the bag was a sealed cardboard box containing cremated ashes.
