Public Appeal After Homicide Arrest

Jason Andrew Boucher, 41, of Toronto was arrested and charged with second degree murder in the death of Scott Savoy.

On Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at 1:50 p.m., police were called to the Danforth Road/Kennedy Road area for a sudden death. 

It is reported that concerned friends checked on a man's well-being when they had not heard from him since January 31, and once inside the man's home, they found him deceased.

Scott Savoy, 48, of Toronto, was identified as the victim.

A post-mortem investigation determined the cause of death as blunt-force trauma. 

Homicide investigators would like to speak to any witness, or anyone else with information about Savoy's death.
