Officers are swinging open the doors to 42 Division station and welcoming the community for tours, a BBQ and a rummage sale to benefit police-community initiatives.
Local residents are welcome to the open house on May 9, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 42 Division station (242 Milner Ave. ) in celebration of Police Week.
The community will have the opportunity to meet officers and take pictures alongside a police dog and horse as well as sit in several police vehicles. There will also be tours of the station and an electronic child fingerprinting booth.
The rummage sale will benefit the Community Police Liaison Committee and Chinese Police Community Liaison Committee so they may continue to financially support various community activities, events and projects.
For more information or to donate items for our rummage sale, please contact the 42 Division Community Services Officers at 416-808-4220.
