Stabbing Case Seeks Out Cabbie

Investigators would like to speak to a cab driver who drove a man who had been stabbed.

On Saturday, May 16, at approximately 5:30 a.m., police received a call for a stabbing.

It is reported that a 19-year-old man was stabbed multiple times at a unknown location

 and the man was taken to the Warden Avenue and Finch Avenue East area by taxi


The man was later taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police would like to get in contact with the taxi driver who drove the man to the Warden Avenue and Finch Avenue East area. 

The cab is described as a late-model, dark Chrysler 300, with no distinguishing markings other than a taxi sign on the roof.
