Thura Htut, 36, of Toronto, is charged with Break-and-Enter Commit as well as Theft - Under ($5000) from a previous unrelated incident.

Police had released a photo of a suspect who broke into a midtown home this week.

On Tuesday, September 29, 2015, at approximately 2:15 p.m., a 51-year-old woman returned home in the Oriole Parkway and Lonsdale Road area where she found an unknown man wearing only boxer shorts and a shirt.

The man ran away when confronted. The woman then found the family dog had been let out of its crate and had its collar removed. Cigarette butts and an impression on the bed were discovered in the children's bedrooms and the pictures of adults had been turned face down but the children's pictures were left standing.

Investigators were concerned the suspect may be a sex offender.
