Woman Arrested In Downtown Stabbing

A woman wanted for a stabbing in a downtown Shoppers Drug Mart was arrested by police on Tuesday afternoon.

Rohinie Bisesar, 40, has been arrested and charged with attempted murder for a downtown stabbing.

Rohinie Bisesar, 40, has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault and carrying a concealed weapon.

She is alleged to have stabbed a woman at the drug store in the PATH system at 66 Wellington Street West on December 11, 2015. 

The victim remains in hospital.

The Toronto Police Service would like to thank the public whose assistance was instrumental in this arrest. 

Bisesar is scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 10 a.m., in room 507.
