Man Wanted for Stabbing

Investigators in 11 Division are looking for a man wanted in connection with a stabbing.

It is reported that on Friday, January 1, 2016, at 3:05 a.m., a 20-year-old got into a verbal altercation with another man and woman in a convenience store at 2244 Bloor Street West.

The unidentified man is alleged to have pulled out a knife and stabbed the 20-year-old man twice, once inside the store, then a second time on the sidewalk in front of the store.

The man and woman both left before police arrived.

Police are requesting assistance identifying the suspect.
