Domestic Violence Symposium

Police officers and community partners are invited to attend a one-day symposium focussing on the effects of domestic violence on children.

Toronto Police Service Domestic Violence co-ordinator Detective Ann-Marie Tupling received a grant from the federal government to host the symposium titled What About the Children? The Hidden Victims of Domestic Violence.

It takes place on Friday, June 2 at Woodbine Banquet & Convention Centre, 30 Vice Regent Blvd.

Dr. Diane Benoit, the Hospital For Sick Children staff psychiatrist, is the keynote speaker.

Admission is free, but individuals are requested to register on line here

The event runs from 7.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.
