It’s alleged that a man and two women entered the victim’s apartment.

A 35-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man were assaulted with a firearm and the three suspects left the area in a vehicle.

Officers located the suspects and seized a loaded Glock 22C pistol.

Superintendent Reuben Stroble, the unit commander at 55 Division, praised the officers’ quick response.

“Our officers acted quickly, responding to the call and—acting as a team – arrested two violent people with a loaded pistol,” he said. “The fact that no one was injured during the arrest is a testament to the professionalism of the officers involved.”

A man and woman are facing nine charges, including assault, firearms possession and tampering with a serial number. Another woman faces six charges.
