Organized by Consts. Kjell Maro and Jeff Lucifora, a total of $2,500 was raised for the Disabled Sailing Association of Ontario (DSAO). The organization provides sailing opportunities to people regardless of ability or age so that anyone can experience being out of the water.

“This derby was a great way for our members to spend a day off with friends and family having some fun for a good cause,” said Maro.

Despite the cold weather, a number of pike were caught and released.

The wining fish was recorded at 11 lbs. 3 ozs.

On Saturday, May 25, Lucifora along with Const. Brad Coutts and Sgt. Gerry Klunder attended the DSAO 20th anniversary barbecue where they made the cheque presentation.
