For the fifth straight year, Toronto Police Traffic Services is raising funds for Special Olympics Ontario.

A Harley Davidson motorcycle is been raffled and the funds will assist Special Olympians from the province participate in various sports disciplines.

The cost of a 2020 Street Glide is $29,533.

The raffle draw takes place on September 16 at Traffic Services.

The first prize is the motorcycle and the second prize is a $500 gift certificate from Brown’s Harley Davidson in Mississauga.

“They can fill out their requests using their credit cards and I will send the tickets to them,” said Sgt. Jeff Redden, of the Service’s Motorcycle Squad.

A ticket cost $20 and the price of three tickets is $50.

Redden said nearly $250,000 has been raised in the last four years to benefits Special Olympics athletes fulfill their dream to compete in sports.

The Toronto Police Service has partnered with Special Olympics Ontario for three decades to raise money and participate in organizing events such as the Special Olympics Ontario Invitational Youth Games in 2019 that drew hundreds of athletes to the city.
