Hundreds gathered in the lobby of police headquarters to celebrate the beginning of Black History Month. Members of the public joined police officers in the event that saw musical and spoken word performances as well as speeches. Keynote speaker Deputy Chief Peter Sloly encouraged all assembled to work together towards a bias-free society.
