Patterson's Last Ride

Sergeant James Patterson took a symbolic ride from the Mounted stables on Exhibition Grounds to his home in Pickering to close out his 36-year career. The training sergeant, who has served 21 years serving as a Mounted officer was joined by his fellow officers during the nine-hour ride. Patterson used three horses to complete the journey on his last day on the job.
