Chief Mark Saunders helped deliver the flame that will light the torch to the Opening Ceremonies of the Pan Am Games. With the help of Marine officers, he was able to meet a torchbearer mid-harbour to deliver the flame ashore on July 10 near the Harbourfront Centre before making its way to the Rogers Centre for the kick off to the Games.
