St. Paul's Basilica was filled with mourners paying respect to Chief Bill McCormack on Sept. 12. Hundreds of police officers saluted the Chief's hearse as it arrived with Chief's Ceremonial Unit members marching alongside. McCormack, who served as Chief from 1989 to 1995, was remembering as a loving father and grandfather and gentleman on and off the job.
