Chief Mark Saunders had tough acts to follow as he thanked the 850 guests to the annual Chief's Gala in support of Victim Services Toronto at the Allstream Centre on Nov. 3. Before the audience had a chance to hear him speak about the value of the work of the social agency that helps victims of crime and sudden tragedy, they witnessed an aerial performance, bagpipes filling the hall, the creation an original artwork on stage accompanied by singing as well as a live auction.
