Man Wanted for Sexual Assault

Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect accused of sexually assaulting a woman in the summer of 2012.

It’s alleged that the woman was walking in the vicinity of Victoria Park Ave. and Danforth Ave. when she was grabbed from behind, dragged into a nearby park and sexually assaulted by the suspect who threatened to kill her.

He fled on foot after the assault.

“This person is obviously a threat to the community and we would like to get him off the street,” said D/Const. Grisel Fitkin.

The suspect is described as having a dark complexion, in his late 20s or early 30s, with big eyes, a muscular upper body, long goatee and shoulder-length black dreads with blond tips.

At the time of the assault, he was wearing a black hoodie with the hood up, black shorts with blue stripes down the sides as well as flip flops and he smelled of body odour and wine.
