South Etobicoke Sexual Assault Alert

Police believe one man is responsible for a string of break-and-enters into homes and sexual assaults in South Etobicoke since the summer of 2012.

Investigators believe the same suspect is responsible for as many as 20 break-and-enters and eight sexual assaults in the same area in the last two years. 

The offences have occurred from June to September. The offender appears to target residences that have unlocked doors or windows.

“Since we can’t predict where he will hit next, we are urging residents to take precautions that will assist them with their personal safety,” said  Sex Crimes Detective Steven McIlwain.
