Chief Mark Saunders will be marking the 10-year anniversary of the Chief's Gala benefiting Victim Services Toronto with a night of celebration on November 23 at the Beanfield Centre at Exhibition Place.
The Gala celebrates the extraordinary work and provides essential fundraising for Victim Services Torontoto support not only to victims, but also to police officers at the scene of crimes and sudden tragedies.
Last year, over 900 guests raised $301,000 to benefit the non-profit organization that has become an essential partner to police.
Victim Services Toronto provides immediate on-site crisis, trauma, safety and support services to victims of crime and sudden tragedy. This agency works closely, and in partnership with the Service, and depends on volunteers, community support and donations to fulfill their critical mission.
This year, eTalk Daily's Ben Mulroney will host the evening and feature a performance by Kayla Diamond, who broke the Billboard Top 40 this year with her song Carnival Hearts.
